Why should I worry about erectile dysfunction?

It is now well known that erectile dysfunction is associated with emotional troubles, social problems and self-esteem as well as depression, anxiety and tension in a relationship. In short, satisfaction in sexual life can affect the overall quality of life. Mild erectile dysfunction emerged as an important indicator of risk for associated underlying diseases.
Data from several studies indicate that erectile dysfunction patients who respond to therapy report a better quality of life during the year following the start of the treatment. These findings underline the importance of effective diagnosis and treatment of men with erectile dysfunction, since successful therapy improves the overall quality of life.
